About MTN Foundation Scholarship Program 

In 2010, MTN Foundation established MTN Foundation Scholarship Program which comes annually to support students (Undergraduates) with high academic performances in Tertiary Institutions.

Categories of MTN Foundation Scholarship 

1. MTN Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS)

MTN Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship was established in 2010 by MTN Foundation and has been opened to students in 200 or 300 level.
For Science students studying 4 years course, must be in their 200lvl second semester 
For medical students and Engineering students studying 5 year course must be in their 300lvl second semester before applying for the scholarship.

MTN Suspends Airtime And Data Borrowing Services 

Eligibility and Requirements 

This scholarship opportunity is open to students in Universities, Polytechnics, Teaching Hospitals and Colleges of Education.
The Student must have a minimum of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0/4 and 3.5/5 second class upper division. 

2. MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (MTN SBS)

MTN Scholarship for Blind Students is open to eligible students in Nigeria universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.
The students must be in 200 or 300 lvl in any of the tertiary Institutions.

Eligibility and Requirements 

The students must 200 or 300 level in any of the Tertiary Institutions.
For Blind Students studying LAW, which is a 5 years course should apply in the 300 level second semester.
For Blind Students in the Universities and Colleges of Education must have a  minimum of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5.
For Blind Students in Polytechnics must have a minimum of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 for National Diploma and must have secured admission into the High National Diploma.
